Process mechanic specializing in surface technology
The training at a glance
During your training with us you will learn:
Anyone who completes dual training as a process mechanic for coating technology mainly learns in the training company and at the vocational school.
Process mechanics for coating technology apply paints, varnishes and other coating materials to wood, metal and plastic surfaces. This can be done mechanically or manually using various surface coating techniques. To do this, they operate, monitor and maintain the appropriate facilities and systems. They plan the work processes, coordinate them with the upstream and downstream manufacturing processes and prepare the workpieces for coating. They also carry out quality controls

Precast Concrete Builder
Betonfertigteilbauer/innen stellen Gewichte, Ballaste und andere Betonerzeugnisse aus Beton und Schwerbeton her
The training at a glance
Precast concrete builders produce weights, ballast and other concrete products from concrete and heavy concrete.
For the different weights, they use ready-made molds or assemble molds and formwork from multiplex panels, squared timber, GRP, polyurea and other formwork material. In doing so, they follow the design drawings and plans exactly to install the end product at the specified location.
In series production, prefabricated reinforcement cages are placed in the molds.
If you manufacture individual concrete products, e.g. weights for special machine construction, you build in reinforcement made of steel rods and iron mesh for static reasons.
With the help of machines, precast concrete part builders shorten steel rods, bend them into shape according to specified plans and then join them together with binding wire. They anchor the reinforcement in the concrete formwork. Now the concrete mix can be placed.
They compact the liquid concrete with formwork vibrators and give it an even surface with trowels and smoothing boards. If necessary, treat the finished parts after hardening with grinding machines. This also requires a certain design skill.
Precast concrete workers transport the finished concrete products to the storage or loading area using hoists or transport equipment. If necessary, they also monitor the loading of the finished parts onto trucks.
Specialist for warehouse logistics
The training at a glance
During your training with us you will learn:
The range of tasks includes, for example, stock checks, the creation of loading lists or the processing of shipping and accompanying documents. Furthermore, more general or more abstract requirements are placed on the specialist for warehouse logistics, such as the handling of IT systems, knowledge of occupational safety and environmental protection. Due to the regrouping of the job profile and the link with the commercial professions, the handling of warehouse indicators and basic accounting terms is also expected. This content enables the warehouse logistics specialist to carry out a complete calculation of a warehouse. This is required to check and control the efficiency and profitability of the warehouse.
